Maintenance Engineer

Job description

The Maintenance Engineer III is responsible for plant predictive and preventive maintenance programs, equipment failure analysis, spare parts inventory improvements, plant lubrication programs, and infrastructure maintenance. Executes capital and expense projects to reduce cost, improve reliability and provide an expedited ROI. Oversees the operation and maintenance of the plant utilities including steam, compressed air, cooling water, and natural gas. Requires a thorough understanding of boilers, air compressors and cooling towers. Projects: - Develop and implement equipment reliability initiatives - Assist production to optimize plant productivity and quality - Technical resource for production personnel on plant utilities - Assist maintenance employees in their skills by giving technical advice and direction - Provide leadership implementing long term solutions to recurrent problems - Quickly provide troubleshooting and problem solving as difficulties arise - Review and optimize the predictive and preventive maintenance programs - Communicate daily with area coordinators - Position is on-call 24/7 to support all aspects of maintenance and production - Implement improvement proje...
