Job Description: Material Handler II Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor: Summary: The Material Handler II role at Bird Johnson, based in our Wrentham, MA facility, involves the effective handling and movement of materials to support manufacturing and meet customer needs. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, material distribution, and collaboration with various departments to maintain efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy. - Perform quality checks on materials and report discrepancies or damages. - Efficiently store, organize, and label materials in designated areas to maintain inventory accuracy. - Collaborate with scheduling and production teams to ensure materials are available for manufacturing. - Pull and stage materials for production based on pick lists and work orders. - Update inventory management systems (ERP/MRP) in real-time for material movements. - Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits to ensure accurate inventory records. - M...
