Budget Analyst, Clinical Trials Unit (Hybrid) - ( 2600028U ) Description What You Will Do: - Independently develops budgets for over 30 industry sponsored clinical trials a year based on an analysis of one time and per patient personnel, procedure and supply costs (30%) - Independently negotiates budgets with sponsors and advises investigators and CTU management on costs of trials so that resources can be appropriately allocated (30%) - Tracks income and expenditures for all assigned clinical trials to ensure that negotiated amounts and time frames are adhered to (10%). - Performs comparisons of budgeted vs. actual expenses to ensure the Business Operations Group is appropriately budgeting trials based on current expenses and effort levels. (10%) - Renegotiates budgets based on changes to protocol (5%) - Works with Center for Clinical Research to track and prioritize clinical trial agreements (5%) - Provides mentorship and training on the Budgeting and CTA process to staff members.
