Position Status: Full time Shift: First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview: The Medical Assistant (MA) position is an important member of the patient care team who assists providers and other office team members in the safe, quality care of patients. Primary duties include supporting the allergy clinic provider's offices, preparing patient charts with necessary medical information from referring physicians for office appointments, coordinating scheduling of patient testing and services, scheduling of patient appointments, rooms allergy clinic patients and takes vital signs, report patient concerns or pertinent observations to provider or licensed team member, accurately documents all patient related activities. Education Qualifications: Successfully completed first semester in an accredited nursing program. Required or Successfully completed a medical assistant or patient care technician program.
