Job Description Summary Job Description: Qualifications/Requirements: - Provide onsite and remote technical direction to site personnel and customers. - Prepare job planning documents that define the work scope being performed through engineering instructions, drawings, and process instructions. - Provide leadership to skilled labor performing work on customer sites. - Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment such as power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, and motors. - Troubleshoot electrical problems in the substations on wind and solar plants. - Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, and preparing job completion reports to customers. - Exercise good judgment in controlling costs. - Maintain strong safety mindset at all times. - High School Diploma / GED Desired Characteristics: - Previous High V oltage experience - Familiar with test equipment and testing procedures for transformers, relays, breakers, and underground splices. - Familiar with switching pad mount transformers and substations. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skil...
