Teacher of Middle and Upper School Writing and Learning Skills (2026) The Brearley School, an independent girls’ school serving over 770 students K–12, welcomes candidates for a full-time ongoing position as a Teacher of Middle and Upper School Writing and Learning Skills beginning August 2026. Responsibilities include: - teaching three or four Middle School courses in the Learning Skills curriculum (grades 5–8) - providing one-to-one executive function support to Middle and Upper School students (grades 5–12). - participating in grade-level team planning meetings with colleagues in and outside of the department - implementing an inclusive, anti-bias, and anti-racist pedagogy - contributing to the life of the school and the students outside of the department The ideal candidate will: - have a bachelor’s degree in the humanities or education; an advanced degree is education is preferred - have three to five years of experience in supporting students with learning differences and in teaching Language Arts at the midd...
