Overview Kimley-Horn is looking for an Instructional Designer to join our Cary, North Carolina (NC) office! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, and developing learning materials for face-to face, e-learning, and blended learning environments based on your knowledge of best practices and adult learning theory. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical, analytical, and project management skills to partner with internal and external clients to develop engaging and relevant content. Develop various training deliverables, such as PowerPoint presentations, learning activities, assignments, assessments, eLearning courses, instructional videos, one-page job aids, etc. Create instructor lesson plans, rubrics, and other teaching tools. Able to observe/analyze training programs and processes for outcomes and feedback. Edit and proofread materials for grammar, format, style, accuracy, and consistency per established quality control checklists and brand guidelines.
