CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: The Department of Sports Medicine is currently seeking a full time Medical Assistant 1 to work in Coral Gables, FL. The Medical Assistant 1 performs multi-skilled tasks to assist with patients’ healthcare management and clinical procedures in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service. The Medical Assistant 1 provides hands-on care to patients while adhering to regulatory requirements, standards of care, and institutional policies and procedures, under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician. 1.
