Hourly Pay Range: $35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Supervisor, Lab - Core Lab MLS - Location: Evanston Hospital - Full Time/Part Time: Full Time - Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays What you will do: - Leading, mentoring and supervising a team of Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, and support staff. - Assigning and coordinating work schedules, optimizing staffing levels for efficient operations. - Conducting regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development. - Overseeing a wide range of clinical laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking. - Ensuring strict adherence to laboratory procedures, protocols, and safety standards. - Managing inventory levels, initiating supply orders, and overseeing equipment maintenance. - Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control and quality assurance programs, aligning with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP, OSHA). - Participating in proficienc...
