Overview POSITION TITLE (Oracle title): HEAD CUSTODIAN WORKING TITLE: Head Custodian SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT: Custodial Services: LOCATION: Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, NC: PAY GRADE: Noncertified Grade 20: FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt: ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT: No: WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday POSITION PURPOSE: Plans, assigns, monitors, reviews, and supervises the work of custodians at assigned school sites and/or facility. Inspects assigned work of contractors and ensures communication of incomplete or unsatisfactory work to appropriate contact. Trains, advises, and demonstrates to custodians work methods, practices, and procedures for completing job assignments. Informs custodial staff of worksite and district policies and procedures related to the job assignments and enforces safety rules and regulations. Performs a variety of custodial work at assigned school sites and/or facility. Maintains and submits the required written documents relevant to the position. Attends required trainings.
