Job description

The J.D. McCarty Center is looking for Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our Outpatient team in Norman, OK. The Behavior Technician/RBT will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with Autism. The Behavior Technician/RBT will collect data on programs and work closely with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Salary: $24.00/hr: Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, punctual and enjoys helping others. This person must be reliable, empathetic and able to work with children. Responsibilities and Duties: - Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of teaching and natural environment play. - Follow the client’s individualized treatment plan and behavior reduction protocols as determined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). - Collect, record and summarize data on observable client behavior(s). - Effectively communication with parents and caregivers regarding the client’s progress as instructed by the BCBA. - Assist in preparing client materials as...
