Location: Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) Shift: Rotation (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary: Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a board certified/board eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Job Duties: The ideal candidate would be an early career or a mid-career interventional cardiologist. System-wide, Geisinger’s Heart and Vascular Institute has 69 Cardiologists, 12 Cardiothoracic Surgeons, 12 Vascular Surgeons as well as 82 Advanced Practitioners. Services are provided at GMC in Danville, PA; The Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital at Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) in Wilkes-Barre, PA; Geisinger – Community Medical Center (G-CMC) in Scranton, PA; Geisinger – Gray’s Woods in State College, PA; as well as select community locations encompassing an additional Cardiologists.
