Overview Darden Elementary Tutor/Leader leads a small group of fellow students in a service experience at Darden Elementary once a week. Your tasks will include driving to Darden Elementary, serving as the primary point-person for Darden Elementary, training your team to provide classroom support for reading literacy, and leading weekly reflections. You’ll get to know one of the organizations doing amazing work in South Bend, and build community with a small group of students interested in supporting their community. CFAM welcomes applications from students committed to radical hospitality from any faith tradition or no faith tradition. To qualify for this position, you must be a current Saint Mary’s student and eligible for Federal Work Study. Specific Responsibilities: Lead a weekly team of fellow students to Darden Elementary Serve as a reading literacy tutor and provide classroom support for a teacher Provide on-site leadership for students Communicate with your team on a weekly basis.
