Mechanical Design Engineer – Modular Offsite Manufacturing Silent Aire – Dublin: What you will do: The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the Modular Design Engineering Team in the mechanical design and development of offsite-manufactured, factory-built modular systems, including modular data centres, packaged MEP plantrooms, and skid-mounted mechanical assemblies. The role is suited to an engineer developing their career, working under the guidance of senior engineers while gaining hands-on experience in DfMA, factory-built systems, and mission-critical infrastructure. How you will do it: - Assist in the mechanical design of modular plantrooms, packaged MEP systems, and modular data centre solutions. - Support development of chilled water, pumping, and heat rejection systems. - Produce and update P&IDs, schematics, GA drawings, and equipment schedules under supervision. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including calculations, specifications, Descriptions of Operation, and technical reports. - Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) aligned with design development, procurement, and manufacturing requirements. - Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (D...
