Shipping Team Lead - 1st Shift

The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a Shipping Team Lead (1st shift) to perform warehouse operations such as loading/unloading trucks, stacking bags, handling product, palletizing, etc. They will document all completed work and recording inventory data; utilizing scanners/computers as necessary and will interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of warehouse operations and promote teamwork. The Lead will operate forklifts and hand carts, and be responsible for understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. They will also mentor less-experienced peers and assist supervisors, but do not formally supervise others. This is a full-time position based out of our Paris, KY office. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm with OT as needed.
