Client Finance Accountant Department: Client Finance: Employment Type: Permanent: Location: Cheltenham: Reporting To: Client Finance Manager: Description: To provide professional accounting services to clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with deadlines while maintaining an inclusive and collaborative approach. Key Responsibilities: Maintain client records and reconcile ledgers. Prepare management accounts, consolidate financial reports, and complete regulatory returns. Prepare statutory accounts. Process, review, and approve journals and reference data on the ledger. Approve payments in line with delegated authority and monitor outstanding invoices/statements. Monitor cash movements and balances, escalating to the Client Manager as needed. Process payroll on behalf of clients. Engage with regulatory bodies, auditors, and clients professionally. Ensure policies, procedures, and controls are documented, followed, and updated. Stay informed about regulatory changes and collaborate with clients, third parties, and internal teams to ensure controlled implementation.
