A Day in the Life: A Day in The Life Of: - Provide technical support to R&D engineers in the execution of laboratory testing and prototype development activities - Support prototype builds and development work within designated prototype build areas - Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory test equipment to support engineering studies - Conduct mechanical testing including tensile testing and other material or component evaluations - Support metrology and dimensional inspection activities using appropriate measurement equipment - Assist with the preparation of samples, fixtures, and test setups required for laboratory testing - Support additive manufacturing activities including 3D printing of prototypes and development components - Perform potting and other preparation techniques required for component testing and analysis - Work from engineering drawings, specifications, and written or verbal instructions - Maintain laboratory equipment an...
