Description The Division of Hospital Medicine, at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital, is seeking a full time hospitalist at the Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor level. Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Anticipated start date is autumn/winter 2025-2026. Clinical appointments align with a 12-month service period (July 1 – June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The successful candidate will have duties at Seattle Children's Hospital/University of Washington, School of Medicine. Our career hospitalists have diverse backgrounds and interests, and participate in a variety of quality improvement, patient safety, educational, and faculty development initiatives. Our hospitalists attend on the General Medicine resident service for 7-day rotations. We provide direct supervision and bedside/didactic teaching of rotating residents and medical students.
