Select Genetics is the leading supplier of poults to growers and companies across North America and has operations in eight states. The Service Room Technician: The work requires the Service Room Technician Requirements: - Assists in unloading boxes of poults onto the Gender Tech Wheel; - Clips the poult’s talons; - Performs Dew-claw treatment; - Performs De-snoot treatment; - Checks the customers’ orders to see what medication is requested for the poults; - Injects the poults with medication using the PSP machines; - Separates the toms and the hens, placing them in the correct box; - Move boxes of poults after servicing in preparation for shipment; - Rotates between positions; - Performs some sanitation duties to ensure a safe and clean environment. - To follow all of the company’s for bio security, animal welfare and safety. - To work as a team to achieve the company’s goals; - To be organized to ensure the tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner; - To be flexible and able to work in many different positions while rotating tasks/positions; - To be knowledgeable about the different types of medicine vaccinations; - To handle the poults with extreme care to prevent inj...
