Art Therapist Intern

Job description

The Art Therapist Intern will provide individual, family, and group therapy (Art and Traditional) and case management to referred clients ages 6 years of age and older within Trilogy’s outpatient clinics in-person (in the Rogers Park, Edgebrook, and Chatham neighborhoods of Chicago) and via telehealth. The Intern will provide person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed services to individuals diagnosed with mental health and substance use disorders utilizing a harm reduction approach. The Intern will receive weekly Art Therapy Supervision with an ATR-BC licensed clinician, and regular supervision and consultation from program Art Therapist. Essential Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment services to youth, young adults, adults, and their families - Develop individualized treatment plans with the input of the client and their team, which includes providers and natural supports.
