Position contributes to the public safety mission by managing daily activities of Security Supervisors, Corrections Officers, and Inmates in an institutional setting. Supervises and monitors staff on assigned shift to ensure a safe, secure, and productive environment. Leads and counsel’s staff. May coordinate work schedules and assign duty rosters for assigned shift. Contributes to administration of performance management system for staff.
