Job Description Position: Staff Accountant: Department: Accounting Schedule: Full‑Time, 5 days per week; additional hours as needed for special projects Position Summary: The Staff Accountant supports the Accounting Department by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with general ledger reconciliations, month‑end close, audits, reporting, and tax filings. This role works collaboratively with accounting leadership to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely financial operations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and reconcile general ledger balance sheet accounts - Assist with preparation and analysis of financial and administrative reports - Participate in month‑end, quarterly, and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations - Support year‑end audits by preparing schedules, work papers, and requested documentation - Assist management with accounting procedures, internal controls, and system improvements - Prepare, process, and file federal, state, and local tax documents in a timely and accurate manner - Respond to accounting inquiries professionally and efficiently - Perform additional accounting duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirem...
