WHAT YOU’LL DO: Payroll Specialist adheres to payroll procedures, ensuring employees are paid accurately and promptly, have accurate financial information, perform daily data entry, and conduct associated tasks as needed within all applicable federal and state laws. ROLE EXPECTATIONS: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensures employee wages are paid in accordance with all applicable federal, state, local/provincial regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. Ensures employee payroll deductions are properly calculated and deducted (benefits, wage garnishments, taxes). Responsible for assigned payroll process and data accuracy, including upload file preparation and balancing. Audits all preview payroll reports for anomalies; identifies and addresses issues within the data set. Assists employees with time and attendance questions. Partners with Internal and External Business Partners to test new functional system enhancements, system updates and integrations. Provides Excel analytics and reporting, ad-hoc and scheduled.
