Status Non Exempt: Hours: M-F 8A – 430P: Job Relationships: Reports to and is supervised by the Laundry Supervisor and Director of Housekeeping and Laundry. Laundry Worker: Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures that linen is properly separated into different classifications. Uses proper personal protective equipment when caring for soiled laundry. Folds and processes clean linen and terry and separates Typical Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs. of linen. Ability to walk extensively, to squat, bend, kneel, climb to reach 8 ft. ceilings, and reach above shoulders. Needs sense of sight, hearing, smell and touch.
