Full job description Medical Assistant: The MA demonstrates the teamwork and collaboration needed to lead a patient focused clinic. The MA will assist the physicians and their care teams and other team members to fulfill MA responsibilities as required to ensure an accurate, professional and efficient visit for all patients on the provider’s schedule that day. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: The MA demonstrates the teamwork and collaboration needed to lead a patient focused clinic. The MA will assist the physicians and their care teams and other team members to fulfill MA responsibilities as required to ensure an accurate and professional visit for all patients on the provider’s schedule each day. The MA will facilitate the efficient patient flow of the clinic – assisting other MA’s and working as part of the MA Team, to ensure that patients are seen as quickly and skillfully as possible. The MA has the capacity to work with multiple providers, quickly learning new protocols when working with a new provider team.
