We Are Hiring : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, NICU - 0.8 FTE Schedule Details: 24 hour shifts to cover Birthing center and NICU at WMH and OMH ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital's Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 22-bed facility providing specialized care for critically ill and premature infants born as early as 22 weeks gestation. The NICU recently unveiled a comprehensive renovation emphasizing family-centered care, featuring fully equipped private rooms designed to accommodate families, including those with twins and triplets. The unit is staffed 24/7 by a dedicated team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and support staff, offering services such as transport, lactation consultation, and post-discharge follow-up clinics. What You Will Do: Responsible for the nature and quality of nursing care of critically ill neonates. Under the direction of a physician the NNP manages neonatal patients using collaboration, consultation, and direct care.
