Job Summary The Accountant II independently supports the Doors business across a broad range of Operations Accounting activities, applying practical accounting knowledge gained through advanced education and professional experience. The role works closely with Accounting Leaders and Business Segments to support the effective execution of Operations Accounting’s goals and objectives through accurate financial reporting, a strong control environment, and continuous improvement. The Accountant II resolves difficult (but not complex) accounting and reporting issues and influences others through sound explanation of accounting principles, policies, and data-driven insights. In all aspects of the role, the Accountant II demonstrates clear and effective communication, teamwork, and commitment to the success of Owens Corning.
