Closing Date: 29 May 2026: The Role: Newcastle Law School seeks to appoint a Lecturer T&S (Fixed Term) to join our forward thinking, inclusive Russell Group Law School. We are looking for an individual with a PhD in law (or near completion) with an emerging research profile who can contribute to the teaching of Law & Ethics (a Stage 1 compulsory module introducing students to theories of legal reasoning and the role of ethics in legal reasoning). Ability to deliver the Animal Rights Law module or to contribute to other teaching on the undergraduate LLB degree is highly desirable. This is a 12-month fixed-term post (September 1st 2026 to Aug 28th 2027) funded by a Leverhulme Research Fellowship.
