Position Overview: North Tower Outpatient and Inpatient Hospital areas will be required - Department: Ultrasound - Schedule: Part-time - 7:00am-3:30pm - no call - no weekends - Wk 1 Thursday and Friday - Wk 2 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Perform diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images for interpretation. - Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams. - Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures. - Performs routine and complex studies and assists in a variety of imaging procedures. - Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations. - Ensures equipment is properly functioning.
