The Accountant, Accounts Payable position is a Full time, Regular position. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct thorough review of invoices to ensure appropriate documentation before processing payments. Perform data entry for invoices and general ledger entries accurately and efficiently. Generate purchase orders as needed to support procurement processes. Reconcile account statements, verifying invoice details, item quantities, and pricing with vendor records. Execute 3-way matching of invoices (purchase order, receiving document, and invoice) and maintain organized records. Reconcile credit cards and bank accounts regularly. Process general payments through ACH, wire transfers, and checks. Perform reconciliation of forms 480 and 1099 to ensure accurate reporting. Manage and update records in systems for SURI, FSE, and the Labor Department as required. Conduct quarterly financial analysis to assess compliance and entries accuracy.
