Job Details The technologist filling this position will be required to work at 3 locations, TJUH Nuclear Medicine, Methodist Nuclear Medicine, and Honickman PET/CT. This position includes on call coverage for both TJUH & Methodist Nuclear Medicine Departments, approximately 1 week every 8 weeks and 1 holiday. Day shift; varying start and end times typically 8 hour shifts. Job Description: PET/Nuc Med Technologist: Under the direction of a radiologist, the PET/Nuc Med Technologist performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures in accordance with approved protocols and NRC/PA DEP standards. Responsible for the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, and the operation of all nuclear medicine and PET imaging equipment. Essential Functions: - Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. - Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including routine nuclear medicine studies, nuclear cardiology and PET/CT oncology, neurology and cardiology procedures. - Operates nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment using proper techniques and patient positioning to produce high quality images. - Prepares, measures, administers, and rec...
