Job description

The EHS Officer is a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and compliance. The successful individual will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing comprehensive Health & Safety initiatives that will contribute to Uniphar creating a best-in-class H&S function across our sites in Ireland, the UK and potentially the EU. The primary role of the EHS Specialist is to lead, develop, implement and monitor the application of the Safety, Health and Welfare Policy. The role will support and advise the Senior Management Team on Health and Safety management matters to ensure that the company complies with its legal and statutory obligations and demonstrates best practice in safety management. Responsible for also driving compliance at a senior level across Ireland, the UK and potentially supporting the EU. You will play a critical role in safeguarding the well-being of our employees, clients, contractors, and communities while upholding our commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.
