Description HOPE Online Learning Academy Job Description Instructional Paraprofessional JOB CLASSIFICATION / WORK EXPECTATIONS SALARY RANGE: $30,000-$38,000 ($17 - $22/hour) The Instructional Paraprofessional position is a full time, non-exempt position. Employees in this position follow the Academic Year Work Calendar, as determined annually. The expected work week is 40 hours, from Monday - Friday. Part time positions may also fall under this job description, at salary commensurate with FTE. SUMMARY: The Instructional Paraprofessional will work with students in the classroom and in small groups under the supervision of a licensed specialist. The Para will deliver intervention lessons, progress monitor, and reteach as needed to ensure student successful completion of the task. The Para works closely with SPED, ELD, general education, and students in the MTSS process, and supports other students as needed and appropriate.
