Accounts Payable Specialist

Job description

Overview We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team supporting a fast-paced data center and managed services environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting month-end close activities. Responsibilities: - Execute full-cycle AP: invoice batching, coding (expense & PO), approvals, and payment runs - Resolve PO exceptions, invoice discrepancies, and vendor inquiries - Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close activities - Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls - Partner with accounting and operations teams to improve processes and cost tracking - Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives - Strong attention to detail with high-volume data entry accuracy - Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands - Professional communication with internal teams and external vendors - Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process efficiency - Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently when needed - Provides quality internal and external...
