POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr Controls Engineer designs and develops PLC programs for material handling equipment. This position has comprehensive knowledge of equipment, business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions and participates in all phases of product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, electrical designs, installation support, electrical installation debugging and support of other complimentary engineering staff associated with the electrical hardware engineering. The Sr Controls Engineer works independently to resolve site requirement changes, and support solutions to complete designed equipment installation. Must be able to travel over 65% of the time; travel is company paid, and you keep the airline miles, and hotel and rental car points. May work 10 days on/4 days off format.
