Title: Financial Counselor Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Revenue Integrity and Financial Clearance Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 37.5 FTE: 0.9375 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Financial Clearance Representative II: Administers the clinical authorization process and resolves more complex clinical authorization issues; assists with training Financial Clearance Representative I's on the eligibility and benefits; reviews reports to monitor unit efficiency; evaluates problems and appropriately reports or resolves such issues. Starting hourly rate is $24.39 Financial Clearance Representative III: Conducts interviews with patients to provide financial counseling regarding insurance coverage, co-payments, deductibles, payment options and account analysis; collects payments as needed, conducts insurance verification when needed; assists with maintenance of the master Insurance Directory; participates in compliance with managed care criteria by obtaining required referrals and waivers; assists patients with Medicaid processes; determines Medicaid eligibility, authorization and/or makes payment arrangements for th...
