Description This position will lead the Athletic Department’s efforts in creating and executing sports information coverage, as well as a communication\marketing strategy for the Athletic Department. This position will provide sports information coverage for home and away athletics events. Responsibilities include game management supervision, keeping statistical data for games, providing updates through athletics web site, social media accounts, live streaming broadcasts, media outlets, and appropriate stakeholders. Directs Sports Information coverage for all Millikin athletic programs with primary coverage responsibility for all sports except football, baseball, wrestling, women’s basketball and men’s and women’s cross country and track and field. Position requires extensive work on nights and weekends including coverage of away events. Will assist in the hiring and managing of all Athletic department student worker including payroll functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: 1.
