Job description

Senior Real Estate Appraiser leads and completes complex commercial, industrial, multifamily, and specialty type valuations, from scope definition through delivery of USPAP-compliant reports for the purpose of mortgage underwriting, acquisition/disposition, portfolio analysis, financial reporting purposes, estate purposes, dispute resolution and other intended uses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Prepare complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties. Oversight of work includes collaboration with senior level staff as well as review of reports. - Conduct complete appraisals, examining and evaluating commercial properties to establish market value. - This role conducts market and comparable research, develops income, sales comparison, and cost approaches, performs highest-and-best-use analyses, and presents and defends conclusions to clients, lenders, and counsel. - The appraiser also manages assignments, ensures QA/QC and regulatory compliance, mentors junior staff, and supports proposals and business development. - Make independent decisions and provide judgement in the development of the appraisal for complex properties. - Inspect properties. - Complete formal review respons...
