POSITION SUMMARY: As a Makeup Artist at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Video Content team by performing makeup application for all on-camera personnel and assisting in making sure all courses have the required props needed for recording. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the makeup department - Procures necessary makeup supplies and inventory - Provides makeup application for on-camera personnel using airbrush techniques - Maintaining a clean supply of stock and keeping up with inventory needs - Shopping for supplies on-line and locally SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: - Have a sense of design and color theory - Excellent communication skills, written, and verbal - Ability to work well with others in a creative environment - Time management and organizational skills - Ability to work early morning hours to prepare teachers and studios before recording begins REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: An applicant must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
