This position is eligible for $5,000 retention bonus. Job Summary: The Providence Center Clinical Therapist Team 1C will provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Center or in the community. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, screening, case management, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned consumers. Treat consumers with respect. Perform in a calm and professional manner during crisis or emergency situations. Apply knowledge of Psychiatric Diagnosis (DSM IV). Perform and record mental status examination. Assess clinical emergencies, including suicide and danger to others. Collect pertinent data from appropriate collateral sources in accordance with confidentiality guidelines. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with Center policy and legal requirements. Develop and present, verbally and in writing, a clear clinical formulation based on behavioral data and relevant theory while incorporating psychosocial and family issues.
