Description The School of Civic Leadership at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) invites applications for full-time tenured/tenured track faculty positions in Economics. Outstanding senior candidates will be considered for endowed professorships and chairs. Considering the responsibility public institutions of higher education have to prepare students for leadership in a free society, the University of Texas System Board of Regents established the School of Civic Leadership at UT Austin in 2023. The School of Civic Leadership is an interdisciplinary school whose dual mission is to equip students with the knowledge and aptitudes necessary to lead in a free society, and to produce academic research at the highest levels of scholarly excellence. The School of Civic Leadership offers a Civics Honors major, a minor in Civics, a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and houses the Civitas Institute.
