About the job Design the hardware that powers the next generation of AI systems. As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will turn complex system requirements into production-ready hardware. You will work across circuit design, validation and system bring-up for Graphcore’s AI compute platforms. You will collaborate closely with silicon, architecture and software teams to solve hard engineering problems early. Your work will directly influence system performance, reliability and manufacturability at scale. This role combines deep technical ownership with hands-on experimentation. You will design, debug and optimise advanced processor systems used to train and run demanding AI workloads. The team and culture: Graphcore’s Hardware Engineering team builds production systems and validation platforms based on our IPU processors. The team works close to the technology, with fast feedback between design, firmware and system architecture. Engineers here take ownership from concept through to production support.
