Quality Manager

Job description

The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and managing the quality assurance and control processes on a specific construction site. This role ensures that all work complies with project specifications, codes, and standards, and that the final product meets quality expectations. The position involves inspections, documentation, coordination with stakeholders, and proactive resolution of quality issues to prevent defects and rework. Key Responsibilities: Quality Planning and Implementation: - Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, inspections checklists, and procedures. - Participate in reviewing submittals and RFIs for quality compliance. - Attend pre-construction and quality-related meetings to coordinate project requirements. Field Inspections & Compliance: - Conduct and coordinate inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities across disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical). - Perform daily visual inspections and document workmanship and materials. - Witness and coordinate materials testing and commissioning of building systems. - Inspect delivered materials and equipment for compliance with specifications and approved submittals.
