Description The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for a non-tenure track full-time lecturer position beginning August 2024. The Department seeks to hire full-time teaching faculty who will be responsible for teaching and providing leadership in our introductory environmental science classes as well as instruction in geoscience, environmental health, ecology, or related fields. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this position will provide instruction on research project planning and proposal writing at the graduate level. This position will play a key role in advising undergraduate students in the Marine and Environmental Sciences program and graduate students in the Environmental Science program. Additional administrative duties include assisting the department with student recruitment and retention and advising students including guidance on internship opportunities. The Department seeks a colleague who is interested in developing relationships with the greater New Haven community and contributing to University efforts to educate the general public on environmental issues.
