Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Promotes, advocates, and ensures the adequacy and safety of care received and the quality of life of older adult residents of assisted living and long-term care facilities in Salt Lake and Tooele counties in accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, regulations and policies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a closely related field; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience. Must be able to obtain certification as a certified Ombudsman within six (6) months of hire. Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
