Registered Nurse - Infusion Center - Full Time - Days

This is for a Full Time RN position in the infusion center at Lourdes Hospital. The hours would be variable but the infusion center is open 8-6 M-F and 8-12 Saturday and Sunday. Right now they are on every four week rotation for weekends. Position Summary: The Oncology nurse provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients and is responsible for delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, and evidence-based quality care. Practicing in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Experience: A minimum of two years of practice as a registered nurse in an acute care setting is preferred but not required. Education: Graduate of an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited nursing program. A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required. Additional nursing CEU’s are required for cancer centers with Accreditations.
