Join our community. We have an exciting opportunity for a CHAPS Controller to join our CHAPS Control team with Payment Services. Payment Services is responsible for ensuring that Santander UK continues to deliver a compliant customer experience through a rapidly changing payments landscape the scope covers payments, cards and Open Banking. With regulation driving change and innovation, the team is leading the way on exciting challenges and new ways of helping our customers. The CHAPS Controller is a specialised role, working within a multi-skilled and multi-disciplinary team, responsible for the operational management, development, user testing and control of the Santander CHAPS sterling payment application and payment flows to strict internal and Industry Scheme Rules. The focus of this role will be supporting the bank with its Scheme obligations as a CHAPS Direct Participant, supporting the change management of CHAPS systems and applications, representing Santander at Industry forums and Working Groups whilst controlling the intra-day flow of CHAPS payments.
