Job description

The Department of Facilities Management supports the mission of the University of Denver's physical resources in order to provide a healthy and safe educational environment for campus community through services of the departments of Capital Projects and Planning, Facilities Management, Parking & Mobility Services, Auxiliaries & Real Estate, and Business & Operations. Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Ice Manager and the general direction of the Operations Manager of Auxiliary Facilities, this position performs maintenance of ice arena facilities and repair of ice resurfacing equipment. This position also performs snow melting and hockey goal positioning per client’s requests. Essential Functions: - In addition to following the University of Denver’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event and ice arena schedule. - Ability to take and follow direction in a client service-based environment. - The ability to manage details in the delivery of quality ice resurfacing within a rigid time constraints. - Maintain the ice resurfacin...
