About the Role Culmen is seeking a highly qualified Civil Nuclear Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support technical webinars focused on strengthening institutional readiness for responsible civil nuclear energy development, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). What You’ll Do in Your New Role The SME will deliver 2–3 presentations addressing key foundational elements required to support safe, secure, and sustainable nuclear energy programs, including workforce development considerations for SMRs compared to conventional nuclear power plants, identification of domestic technical and institutional capabilities needed to support civil nuclear infrastructure, and development of knowledge management frameworks that enable long-term retention, transfer, and application of nuclear expertise. Required Qualifications: - 10–15+ years of professional experience in nuclear engineering, nuclear policy, regulatory development, safeguards, nonproliferation, or nuclear workforce capacity-building, including direct experience with Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technologies, deployment frameworks, licensing considerations, or SMR workforce development needs - Experience supporting government institu...
