Weekend Plant Management Supervisor Position scope/summary: The Weekend Plant Supervisor provides front line leadership and direction, supervision, operations performance measurement, problem solving direction and attention to assigned production areas within the facility. In addition, the supervisor mentors and supports Team Leads and Operators regarding development of a lean environment including visual factory on each of the respective production lines. Essential duties and responsibilities: - Act as the business owner for specific departments (with a minimum of 25 team members) across all shifts. - Adjust operator according to scheduled requirements, training needs and limitations, and established crewing models for desired tact times. Incumbent will make decisions regarding team member flexibility and reallocation in such a way that minimizes overtime and maximizes utilization of team members. - Build, lead, develop and motivate product teams.
